no prob
Cool
I'll try to be nice :P
I disliked the melodysynths a lot. The introtune was killing untill that other synth came. I could imagine it being much cooler if you just prompted a PHAT bass-line in there. The drums, it all sounded a little loud. Hey cool drum variations at times!
Spoken of variation, thats one of the strong points of this song. I loved some parts, but some parts were less in comparison to the others. That says more about the good parts than the bad parts though.
Overall I'd suggest using a little less random melodies. Really, that peaky intro synth rules and you should build a track around that, together with a little less layers maybe, and with more emphasis on the bass without the randomness distracting from it.
I hope I explained myself good enough, lol.
4/5, 8/10
ps: u díd a good job, dont forget that
yeh I had like 3 songs in one... so im sure any of those simpler melodys near the end revolving around that phat bass, would of been better to build a song with.
Hm
Did you really think of those melodies yourself? They remind me of magix music maker etc etc but forgive me if I'm wrong.
I don't see the effort really, sorry, but it sounds kinda nice though.
Thanks it is nice yeh lol i dont go out witht he person i made this for any more so the newnone of this is DJ Alx - You Are Breaking My Heart
Dance
Very enlightning percs.. though did you use samples? At least it sounds like that, because the pad cuts itself when it's to be repeated after which doesnt sound very nice in my humble opinion.
voted a fair 3/5
thanks ill watch out for that cutting pad
lol
This really isnt trance. This is a very nice pop track.
Good job!
yeah...i don't know
Hehe
Listen closely, the quality of that xylo isnt that great.. It clips like hell :( I love that melody though, but that's not your work, or?
I think the track overall sounds not bad. You could try to get the snare a bit louder.
Oops, the second part is out of rithme and out of tone, a shame cuz I really liked the first part.
The breaks near the end didnt really get my attention too, it was as if they came from far even when I turned my volume up. Try mastering it a bit louder, and eventually use some more wetness effects on some sounds.
3/5
about that quality of that cloudy xylo, I don´t have a problem with it... maybe your headphones are dying out ;) but I´m am unhappy to hear that you don´t like that second part :((( I know, it´s little bit ( maybe more than lil bit ) overstuffed, but I don´t think that it´s so terrible. But I´m glad of your opinion, It makes me to do harder next time. At least I´m glad that you enjoyed the first part ^^
ps: that melody is main theme of the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (1975) ... dunno who is original author :S
Sweet
The pluck together with those pads certainly did the trick. It sounds quite peaceful, but watch the chords!
Also the second melody (not far in the song) is a bit weak and strange compared to the first, I kinda dislike that bit.. For me it stands in great contrast with the main melody.
Oh great here comes more sound. Cool how you used that extra tribal-like sound to add something low to the track. Cause that is - I think - what's missing mainly here, something low. Maybe you should try adding a lower pad/string after a min of playing time.
ps: i really like the middle part! I'd advice you to keep relying on that part and let it come back a few times.
thank you for your nice review and good advices ;) i know, this track is missing a lot of things... but I dunno why, I wanted to do it simple like this. Thx ;)
ps: i like that middle part too :D
Hehe
Hehe, try playing the start 10 times. Do you notice it too?
Try to make the intro a bit longer, I longed for a bit more bars of ambient feeling before the drum breaks come, but this is also personal.
I think it sounds pretty cool actually, but try to stick to the theme melody a bit more, because usually there has to be an always-returning element in a good song :)
well im trying to make a slightly unexpected kinda feel just like traveling through an unfamiliar train ride so theres like bits and piece here and there
btw this was an experimental piece that turned out preety well so its posted up here :)
Not bad
Drum and Bass? Though the drums arent very varieted.
Interesting use of panning for that open high-hat, but watch the volume when using panning, cuz the effect is a little too strong now.
The bass line doesnt really seem to fit the strings, but then again that might have been your intention as everything is possible in this genre, lol.
Aw, the song stopped already :(
well i was trying to make something medieval yet high tech and industrial fused with ambient so here comes this piece...
